We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team at a six-bed, privately-owned healthcare facility with high standards. The CNA will provide high-quality, hands-on care to patients/residents while supporting Licensed nursing staff in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients/residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating and toileting Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety Respond promptly to call lights and patient needs Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided Support infection control and safety procedures Communicate effectively with nurses and other team members regarding patient condition changes Provide emotional support and companionship to patients/residents
Qualifications:
Active CNA certification in California Current CPR/BLS certification required High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or long-term care setting Experience with PCC Hours Day Shift Hours 7AM-7PM Alternating weekends coverage
