In this vital role, you will support residents' recovery, independence, and overall well-being by assisting with daily activities, implementing restorative nursing interventions, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. The schedule is Saturday-Sunday day shift, 8 hours per day, 16 hours per week Duties Assist residents to carry out prescribed therapeutic range of motion [active, active assistive or passive] exercises that maintain level of joint mobility and prevent contractures. Provide residents with the required assistance with ambulation and safe transfers to improve and maintain their mobility and independence. Apply splint[s] and orthotic device[s] specific to patient-centered care plan to minimize pain and/or prevent the development of contractures. Conduct the prescribed restorative feeding program with attention to aspiration precautions regimen in accordance to patient-centered care plan. Document each resident's response[s] to restorative treatments or activities on a weekly basis. Assist in passing nourishments, meal trays and fresh water to residents every day, while maintaining infection control standards of practice and hand hygiene. Provide assistance and training to residents on prescribed Bowel and Bladder re-training regimen in accordance with the patient-centered care plan Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Must possess a current Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate for California. Must possess a Restorative Nursing Assistant Certificate of Training. Must possess a current CPR certification.
