7am-3pm 3pm-11pm 11am-7pm Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality care in various settings, including nursing homes, urgent care facilities, and inpatient units. The Nursing Assistant will work closely with nursing staff to maintain accurate medical documentation and support patient service initiatives. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, particularly in senior care and geriatrics settings. Help with mobility by assisting patients in moving from beds to wheelchairs or other locations. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols. Document patient care activities accurately in medical records to ensure continuity of care. Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients. Respond promptly to patient calls for assistance and address their needs effectively. Participate in training programs to enhance skills related to critical care or pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) settings. Qualifications Previous experience in senior care, geriatrics, or urgent care is preferred but not required. Familiarity with medical documentation practices and maintaining accurate medical records. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred; however, candidates currently pursuing certification may be considered. Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for long periods and lifting patients when necessary.
