  • Skilled Nursing Facility Job Summary We are seeking dependable and compassionate PRN Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our skilled nursing facility team.
PRN CNAs help provide additional staffing coverage for open shifts, call-offs, weekends, holidays, and other facility needs. This is a great opportunity for CNAs looking for flexible scheduling while continuing to provide hands-on resident care. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, attentive, and committed to treating residents with dignity and respect. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene. Assist residents with transfers, repositioning, mobility, and ambulation. Provide assistance with meals and hydration as needed. Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs. Take and record vital signs, weights, intake and output, and other assigned information. Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nurse. Assist with turning and repositioning residents to help prevent skin breakdown. Maintain clean and safe resident rooms and care areas. Provide incontinent care and assist residents with toileting needs. Follow resident care plans and facility policies. Properly use gait belts, mechanical lifts, and other resident-care equipment. Follow infection control and safety procedures. Maintain resident dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and independence. Communicate professionally with residents, families, nurses, and coworkers. Complete required documentation accurately and on time. Assist coworkers as needed to ensure residents receive timely care. Complete other resident-care duties as assigned. Qualifications Current Colorado CNA certification in good standing. CPR/BLS certification as required. Skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, assisted living, or similar experience preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting, transferring, repositioning, standing, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling. Ability to provide compassionate care to elderly and medically complex residents. Schedule This is a PRN / as-needed position .
Availability may include:
Day shifts Night shifts Weekends Holidays Call-off and open-shift coverage PRN employees may pick up available shifts based on facility needs and employee availability.
