Job Description

As a CNA at Stellar Senior Living, you will provide compassionate, hands-on care that supports seniors' independence and quality of life. Working in a resident-first, team-oriented environment, you'll assist with activities of daily living, mobility, and personal care while fostering dignity, respect, and comfort. You'll closely observe residents, report changes to nursing staff, and follow individualized care plans. CNAs also help create a warm, homelike setting by engaging residents, supporting meals and hydration, and maintaining safety and infection control standards. Responsibilities Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to nurses and supervisors Support safe ambulation, transfers, and mobility using proper techniques and equipment Assist with meals, hydration, and basic comfort needs while promoting resident dignity and independence Document care provided in accordance with community and regulatory standards Follow care plans and collaborate with nursing and care teams to ensure resident-centered service Maintain a clean, safe, and homelike environment for residents Build trusting, compassionate relationships with residents and families Adhere to infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies Participate in training and team meetings to support continuous improvement Required Skills Resident care and ADL assistance Vital signs monitoring Infection control practices Safe transfer and mobility techniques Basic medical terminology Electronic or paper charting/documentation Communication with residents and care teams Dementia and memory care support HIPAA and confidentiality compliance Time management and task prioritization
