Job Description

Royal Care of Avon Park is now hiring a Part Time CNA /Transporter to become part of our team providing excellent quality care to our residents. If you have prior Skilled Nursing Facility experience as a C.N.A and/or transporter, we want to hear from you! As a facility Van Driver your primary purpose is to safely transport residents to medical appointments and recreational activities, keep the Facility's vehicle working properly and in clean condition, and any other responsibilities as directed by your Supervisor.
Shift:
Part time Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturdays 5am-2pm The Responsibilities include: Transport residents to medical appointments and recreational activities according to established schedules and allotted times. Assist residents entering and exiting the Facility's vehicle. Drive Facility's vehicle to events and activities outside the Facility, as necessary. Coordinate with Facility medical and nursing personnel regarding transporting residents to scheduled medical appointments. Coordinate with Activities Director and Activities Assistant regarding transporting residents to scheduled activities. Ensure that emergency equipment (i.e. triangles, fire extinguisher, and first-aid kit) are available and in good working condition. Recommend to your Supervisor the equipment and supply needs for the Facility's vehicle. Assist in the moving and arranging of equipment and supplies to assure that the Facility's vehicle is ready for scheduled appointments and activities. Maintain an incident and accident free driving record. Job Requirements One (1) year experience operating a Company vehicle. Must be a valid Certified Nursing Assistant. Must have a clean driving record. This position requires a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
