Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using patient transfer methods and equipment like Hoyer lifts Maintain accurate medical documentation in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards. Support clients with dementia or Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice needs, and end-of-life assistance with compassion and professionalism. Assist with meal preparation, light cleaning, laundry, and other household tasks to promote a safe and comfortable environment. Communicate effectively with clients and their families to ensure personalized care plans are followed and needs are met. Requirements Valid certification as a CNA or HHA with current licensing or registration as required by state law. Experience working with geriatric patients, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring dementia or Alzheimer's care is highly preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams while maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
