Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Medication Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medication Assistant will provide direct patient care, assist with medications and support healthcare professionals. Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with their medications
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Take and record vital signs accurately
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
  • Follow proper infection control procedures
  • Document patient information accurately Skills
  • Experience in hospice care, medical-surgical, long term care, memory care, inpatient, clinic settings is preferred
  • Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) techniques
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
