Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1st Shift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively during daytime hours. As a CNA, you will provide essential support to patients across various care settings, including long-term care, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and community health environments. Your role will be vital in ensuring patients receive respectful, attentive, and high-quality care while maintaining compliance with healthcare standards and regulations. Schedule

Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using appropriate patient transfer methods and equipment like Hoyer lifts. Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates, ensuring proper documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral health management. Maintain aseptic techniques during patient interactions and ensure infection control protocols are followed diligently. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Facilitate patient transfers using safe handling practices while employing appropriate medical equipment for patient safety. Skills Proven experience working as a CNA in diverse healthcare settings such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, or home & community care environments. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, & physiology. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems Experience caring for geriatric patients or individuals with disabilities, including dementia or behavioral health needs. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and utilize manual handling techniques to prevent injury. Strong communication skills for caregiving roles that require interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Competence in infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for safe patient care. Pay:
