Caregiver responsibilities include:
assisting residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. The Caregiver (C.N.A.) plays a key role in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations and ensuring resident's receive care and assistance in Activities of Daily Living. Duties and Responsibilities- Must be 18 years of age (State Rules and Regulations)
- Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing with residents, staff members, families and the general public.
- Must be a responsible individual with a good work ethic. Must be able to lift (up to 40 lbs) and assist residents without physical limitations or physical restraints such as back problems, neck or shoulder problems etc.
- Certified Med Tech Caregivers must document medication dispensing on proper forms and eMar software programs.
- Certified Med Tech will abide by all rules (both State and Facility) regarding Med Passing processes.
- Caregiver must be able to perform duties and responsibilities with or without supervision. Responsibilities will include light housekeeping duties ie; vacuuming, dusting, mopping and cleansing etc.
- Must consent to a background check.
- Must be compassionate and have a desire to care for the elderly.
- Must demonstrate the ability to care for the elderly while maintaining our resident's dignity and privacy.
- Must be punctual and able to work scheduled hours and be somewhat flexible.
- Caregiver will respond promptly to all resident call signals in a courteous and timely manner.
- Caregiver will follow all Universal Precautions and Body Substance isolation procedures at all times.
- Caregiver will document resident care on proper facility forms and medical documentation software. Caregiver Confidentiality / Security / Detail
