- Earn an extra $1/hour Team events, bonuses, and stay-on rewards Referral bonuses for caregivers and client referrals Responsibilities Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting Provide companionship and meaningful engagement Prepare meals and assist with feeding Perform light housekeeping and laundry Provide medication reminders (no medication administration) Escort clients to appointments and errands Assist with mobility and ensure home safety Follow individualized care plans and document care provided Observe, report, and communicate changes in client condition Requirements Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience required Professional or family caregiving experience accepted Must be 18 years of age or older High school diploma or GED preferred Reliable transportation is required Valid driver's license required if transporting clients Must be willing and able to travel to: Huntley, Algonquin, Cary, Elgin, South Elgin, and surrounding areas Must pass background screening Must be authorized to work in the United States (W-2 employees only) Compassionate, dependable, and committed to quality care Preferred CPR / First Aid certification Experience with Dementia or Alzheimer's care CNA or HHA certification Experience with mobility assistance Qualifications Experience providing in-home services to seniors or completion/enrollment in a CNA or nursing program Ability to work independently Strong judgment and decision-making skills Reliable transportation between client homes Ready to Make a Difference?
