Certified Nursing Assistant
Job Description
Heart Care Centers of Illinois , a multi-site network of cardiovascular providers, currently has a new opening for a Certified Nursing Assistant at our Premier Vascular outpatient surgery center in Merrionette Park, IL. This individual will be responsible for assisting Physicians, RNs and other staff with the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients. The ideal individual will have excellent communication skills, possess the ability to work effectively and efficiently with nursing staff to deliver quality patient care, and be able to perform all duties in a manner which promotes a team concept.
Requirements:
- Nursing Assistant Certification by the State of Illinois and in good standing with IDPH Healthcare Worker Registry
- Requires knowledge of basic medical assessment practices and terminology
- At least one year experience as a CNA in a hospital setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Analytical and strong interpersonal communication skills required as well as the ability to prioritize work and manage time.
Pay:
