Essential Function/Job Responsibility:
Serves as first assistant during orthopedic surgical procedures under the direction of the surgeon, including providing surgical exposure, handling tissue, maintaining hemostasis, suturing, and performing wound closure within the RNFA's authorized scope of practice. Assists with orthopedic office procedures and provides clinical support in the office setting as needed.Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited RNFA program with a current, unrestricted RN license in the State of Indiana. Current BLS certification required.
