A Nursing Assistant provides hospital and nursing home patients with basic care and assists them with daily activities. Helps patients with dressing, washing, and feeding. Lions Rehab Center, a 101-bed skilled nursing facility located in Cumberland, Maryland, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA 1 to join our team. As a CNA 1, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and support to our residents, working closely with our nursing staff to ensure their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and other health indicators Report changes in residents' conditions promptly to nursing staff Support residents' emotional and social well-being with kindness and respect Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver individualized care
Qualifications:
CNA 1 in Maryland Previous experience in long-term or skilled nursing care preferred A genuine passion for caring for the elderly and vulnerable populations Strong communication and teamwork skills
