Job Description

Full-time Nurse (RN/LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) Position At Poolesville Family Practice we believe our patients always deserve respect and care. We do not believe in corporate medicine. We allow our staff the time to give our patients the compassionate care they deserve. Our patients are always seen on-time and never hurried through appointments. Our personalized service is what has given our practice such a wonderful reputation in our community. Our office is only a short drive from Frederick, Germantown, Gaithersburg, Rockville, and Potomac.
Job Requirements:
  • Full-time (40 hours/wk), no weekends
  • Good communication skills
  • Have good computer skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must be a team player
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Nursing assessments/Vital signs of adult and pediatric patients
  • Venipuncture, vaccines, and medication injections
  • Run EKGs and in house lab tests
  • Give all recommended vaccines
  • Be able to use Electronic medical records (ie, eClinicalworks)
  • Assist Physician and other staff with patient care
  • Order and organize medical supplies and inventory
The Practice:
  • Family Medicine
  • We do full range of family medicine including adult medicine, pediatrics (ages 4 and up), gynecology and minor surgical procedures.
  • The practice has a great reputation in the community for personalized service and compassionate care.
Education:
Have a current Maryland RN, LPN, or MA certificate/license and have completed an accredited program.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years work experience, self-motivated, willing to learn new skills.
