Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence. Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Support medication administration under supervision in accordance with healthcare protocols and HIPAA regulations. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, ensuring safety and dignity. Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy preparation, and aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards. Operate patient lifts like Hoyer lifts safely to prevent injury during transfers. Document patient observations thoroughly in medical records and communicate changes promptly to nursing staff. Support patients with behavioral health needs or developmental disabilities with patience and understanding. Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control practices and safety protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, therapists, and social workers to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
