The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting their independence. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and adherence to health regulations, including HIPAA guidelines. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes in the client's condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional. Provide meal preparation and assistance with feeding as needed. Help clients with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed health plans. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of care provided. Support clients in engaging in social activities and maintaining a positive outlook on life. Ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks as necessary. Respect client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times. Experience Previous experience in assisted living or home health care is preferred but not required. Knowledge of long-term care practices and patient care techniques is advantageous. Familiarity with medical records management and documentation processes is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
