The main role is to provide basic care to patients and help them with daily activities they might have trouble doing on their own, such as bathing and getting dressed. Also requires strength for physical tasks and the desire to help sometimes frail, lonely patients and others struggling with disease and illness. Record all entries on activities documentation sheets in an informative and descriptive manner. Follow work assignments or work schedules in completing and performing your assigned tasks Assisting patients with getting in and out of bed Assisting patients with personal and oral hygiene Performing basic movement exercises Serving meals and assisting patients with eating Monitoring food, water, and medication intake Taking and reporting vital statistics Monitoring and reporting any behavior, health, or vital statistic changes Assisting patients in mobility Offering compassion to patients and loved ones Ability to care for multiple patients at once Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification Summary As a Nursing Assistant (CNA) working day / night shifts, you will be an integral part of the healthcare team, providing essential patient care and support.
