Additional Information About the Role Full time - 40 hours a week Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm Benefit Eligible No weekends, holidays or on call required Supporting BJC Service Area in MO Prior experience in hospice/homecare is a plus! Must be comfortable with community travel and going into patients homes Mileage reimbursement Overview BJC Home Care offers patients and their families a complete range of home care services, including skilled nursing services, adult and pediatric hospice and supportive care, rehabilitation therapy, home infusion therapy, infusion treatment rooms, home medical equipment and high-tech respiratory care. Specialty home care programs also are available, including adult and pediatric asthma, cardiac, diabetes, orthopedic and wound care programs. BJC Home Care provides care to thousands of patients in both Missouri and Illinois. Serving more than 25 counties, it has become the largest home care network in the region and one of the largest in the country. The Parkland Intermittent Home Care Department of BJC Home Care Services provides home visits to patients in Farmington, Missouri and several nearby counties, with 24 hour on-call home care nursing supervision. Our JCAHO accredited, multi-disciplinary approach combines leading edge technology with a firm belief in the powerful recuperative advantages of receiving home care. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The Certified Nurse Assistant is responsible for providing direct patient/resident care and assistance in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures, regulations and nursing standards of care. Responsibilities Obtains vital signs and other measurements as directed and documents findings promptly. Meets patient hygiene, comfort, nutrition, and hydration needs and documents as required. Recognizes and reports abnormal findings or changes in patient status to the nurse throughout entire shift. Implements care under the supervision of the nurse.or Primary Case Manager. In Home Health, this can be done with a RN/PT/OT or Speech Pathologist. Minimum Requirements Education High School Diploma or GED Experience No Experience Supervisor Experience No Experience Licenses & Certifications Automobile Insurance Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified Nurse Assistant Valid Driver's License Preferred Requirements Experience
