Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description Provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN. Assists residents with activities of daily living while maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Follow universal precautions at all times Complete assigned tasks and report incomplete duties to the charge nurse Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges Provide post-mortem care Deliver morning and evening care (bathing, hygiene, grooming, linen changes, room organization) Assist with positioning, lifting, turning, ambulation, and toileting Attend in-service trainings and maintain required competencies Accurately document care in patient records Qualifications Compassionate and attentive to patient needs Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Strong documentation skills Professional, courteous demeanor Maintains patient confidentiality and follows facility policies Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Description Maintains clinical competency through nursing knowledge, leadership, and communication while delivering safe and effective patient care. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care planning Communicate with patients and families Assign and oversee nursing partner duties Conduct rounds with focus on high-acuity patients Monitor patient conditions and report changes Administer medications and treatments Admit patients and process physician orders Assist physicians during rounds Physical Requirements Stand or walk 8-12 hours per shift Lift up to 60-70 lbs occasionally Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and twisting Adequate vision, hearing, communication, and dexterity Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description Provides leadership and comprehensive nursing care using evidence-based practice while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Assess patients and develop/revise care plans Communicate effectively with patients and families Supervise LPNs and nursing partners Conduct rounds with focus on high-acuity patients Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition Administer medications, IV fluids, and IV medications Admit patients and process physician orders Assist physicians during rounds Physical Requirements Stand or walk 8-12 hours per shift Lift up to 60-70 lbs occasionally Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and twisting Adequate vision, hearing, communication, and dexterity
