Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with bathing such as whirlpools and showers
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
• Administer medications under the supervision of a nurse
• Assist with transferring and positioning patients
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
• Follow medical documentation protocols accurately

Experience:

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control practices
• Experience in home care, memory care, acute care, or senior care is a plus
• Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of an accredited nursing assistant program
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and empathetic nature towards patients
