We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.Work Environment:
This position operates in a clinical healthcare environment.Responsibilities:
Resident Care:
Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.Mobility Assistance:
Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.Vital Signs Monitoring:
Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.Documentation:
Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents' conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.Communication:
Report any changes in residents' conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.Supportive Tasks:
Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents' quality of life.Infection Control:
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move residents, as well as perform physical tasks associated with patient care.Certifications:
