JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the OR Suite in accordance with regulations and evidence based recommended practice in addition to Stillwater Medical Center procedure and Infection Control Policy. Responsible for maintaining the stock of delegated supplies within the established PAR levels. Responsible for the safe transport of patients as needed within the facility and to assist staff in the transport of patients and equipment as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum age of 18 years. Completion of a Nurse Assistant training course, EMT course, or acceptable patient care experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related health care facility preferred. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to function in stressful situations. Basic Computer knowledge.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking and standing. Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to read and write. Able to hear, or correctable with hearing devices, and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the phone. Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately assess, monitor, and administer care. Able to frequently lift at least 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel. Possesses fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care.
