AAA In-Home Care Home Health Aide / CNA / Patient Care Assistant Job Summary We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our in-home care team as Home Health Aides, Certified Nursing Assistants, or Patient Care Assistants. Whether you are an experienced caregiver or brand new to the field, AAA In-Home Care provides comprehensive training to ensure you are confident, prepared, and fully supported in delivering high-quality care to clients in their homes. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping others, value meaningful work, and want to grow within the healthcare field. Key Responsibilities Personal Care & Daily Living Support Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Provide safe transfer assistance (bed to chair, walker support, etc.). Support clients with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and hydration reminders. Companionship & Emotional Support Build trusting, respectful relationships with clients and families. Engage clients in conversation, activities, and social interaction. Provide supervision and ensure a safe, comfortable home environment. Household Support Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and tidying. Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and appointment reminders (as allowed by agency policy). Health Monitoring & Documentation Observe and report changes in client condition to supervisors. Accurately document care provided using agency forms or digital tools. Follow care plans and communicate effectively with the care team. Professionalism & Compliance Maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines. Adhere to agency policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures. Participate in ongoing training and skill development. Job Requirements Minimum Requirements Must be at least 18 years old. Valid driver's license or reliable transportation. Ability to pass a background check. Ability to lift, transfer, or assist clients safely (with training). Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor. Preferred but Not Required Previous experience as a caregiver, HHA, CNA, or PCA. Current CNA license (if applying for CNA-specific roles). Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or chronic conditions. Training Provided by Our Agency Candidates without prior certification or experience are welcome.
