Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Nursing Assistant, where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Responsibilities Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper manual handling techniques to ensure safety for patients and staff. Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature regularly to track patient health status. Support patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, feeding, and hygiene to promote comfort and dignity. Operate medical equipment safely and accurately while adhering to infection control protocols to prevent hospital-acquired infections. Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR), including medical history, care provided, and observations. Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers to provide education on treatment plans and address concerns compassionately. Follow strict patient safety procedures during all interactions, including emergency response protocols such as CPR when necessary. Requirements Prior experience working in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or trauma centers is highly preferred; experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to work with geriatric patients and in medical-surgical or post-acute care environments. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR is required; additional certifications such as Medical Terminology or Medical Equipment Operation are a plus. Knowledge of infection control practices and patient transfer methods is essential for maintaining a safe environment. Strong communication skills for effective caregiver interaction and teamwork within multidisciplinary healthcare settings. Inpatient or outpatient experience in teaching hospitals or clinics enhances your candidacy; familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management is beneficial. Ability to perform physical tasks involving manual handling and standing for extended periods while maintaining attentiveness to patient needs.
