Do you want a job that makes a difference? •Concordia at Arbutus Park is looking for experienced and compassionate Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) to provide high quality care to their residents. Documented experience is recognized with rate, vacation/sick accrual, and benefits.•As a Certified Nurse Aide(CNA) , you will have the ability to provide high quality care for residents here at Concordia.

Some of those responsibilities include:

Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report any significant changes to nursing staff Provide medication assistance under supervision, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to HIPAA regulations Support patient safety through infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and maintaining a clean environment Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and mobility exercises tailored to individual needs Document patient care activities thoroughly in EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in settings including hospitals (Level I Trauma Center, ICU, PICU), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics Engage with patients experiencing various conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, behavioral health issues, or developmental disabilities Participate in training related to medical-surgical procedures, emergency response (Basic Life Support), and specialized care like hospice or infectious disease management Experience Prior experience as a CNA in healthcare settings such as hospitals (including trauma centers or ICU), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient safety protocols Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, patients with disabilities or behavioral health needs Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications in phlebotomy or medication administration are a plus Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and provide compassionate patient-centered care This position is essential for delivering high-quality patient support across various healthcare environments.
