This role focuses on supporting residents by meeting their basic health care needs and helping them build skills for greater independence. As a Nurse Aide, you will perform the following duties:Direct Care Support:
Assist residents with hygiene, comfort, and daily needs to maintain a clean and safe environmentRehabilitation Assistance:
Support restorative programs that help residents reach their highest level of independenceCommunication Skills:
Use therapeutic communication and respond to crises while acting as an advocate for residentsCare Planning Input:
Contribute to treatment discussions and help maintain an orderly and sanitary living spaceDaily Living Guidance:
Teach and assist residents with tasks such as making beds, caring for belongings, and healthy eating habitsStatus Reporting:

Full-time employment, 40 hours per week Work hours are 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM (2nd shift), with a 30-minute lunch or 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM (3rd shift), with no lunch. You will have rotating on and off duty days, including weekends and holidays.Telework:

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry; or Six months of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients or residents.Special Requirement:
This position is assigned to a long-term or specialized care facility and requires active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.Other Requirements:
PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. You must be able to perform essential job functions.Legal Requirements:
