Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Home Care
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed Provide appropriate support, supervision, and redirection for a client with mild dementia Observe and report changes in the client's condition Follow the client's care plan and maintain a safe environment Provide light housekeeping related to the client's care Maintain the client's dignity, privacy, and independence Communicate professionally with the client, family, and care team Complete required care documentationQualifications:
Active Rhode Island CNA certification required Previous CNA or home-care experience Experience assisting with ADLs required Mild dementia care experience required Compassionate, patient, and dependable Strong communication skills Able to work independently in a home-care setting Reliable and punctual Must be able to perform the physical duties required for client carePreferred Qualifications:
Previous home-care experience Dementia-care experience Current CPR/BLS certification Reliable transportationPay:
$25.17 per hour Expected hours: 4.0 - 40.0 per weekWork Location:
