Join Our Team Carlyle Senior Care of Florence is a skilled nursing and long-term care facility dedicated to providing compassionate, resident-centered care. We are seeking dependable and caring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who are committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Position Summary The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. The CNA assists residents with activities of daily living, promotes resident comfort and dignity, and supports a safe and positive environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. Assist with transfers, positioning, ambulation, and use of mobility devices. Monitor and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, and mental condition to nursing staff. Obtain and record vital signs, weights, intake, and output as assigned. Maintain accurate documentation according to facility policies and state regulations. Answer resident call lights promptly and courteously. Maintain residents' rooms in a clean, safe, and organized manner. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and families. Observe infection control and safety procedures at all times. Promote resident dignity, rights, and independence. Participate in care plan meetings and in-service training as required. Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, physicians, and other healthcare team members. Qualifications Current CNA certification in the state of [State]. High school diploma or GED preferred. Current CPR certification preferred. Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff. Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents safely. Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to resident care. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Ability to lift and transfer residents in accordance with facility policies. Ability to perform repetitive movements and respond quickly in emergency situations.
