Job Summary Must have current CNA license We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality daily care to residents in our nursing home. FT/PT Day Shift. CNA will assist residents with activities of daily living, support licensed nursing staff, and help create a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for all residents. Must be able to pass drug screen and background check. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding Safely transfer, position, and ambulate residents using proper body mechanics and approved equipment Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff Provide personal care while maintaining residents' dignity and privacy Respond promptly to call lights and residents' needs Assist with turning and repositioning residents to prevent pressure ulcers Maintain a clean, safe, and organized resident care environment Observe residents for physical, emotional, or behavioral changes and communicate concerns Support residents' emotional and social needs with patience and compassion Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines at all times Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare team members Qualifications Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of employment High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 lbs with assistance Basic knowledge of resident care, safety procedures, and infection control Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a nursing home or long-term care facility CPR/BLS certification Experience caring for elderly or memory-care residents Work Environment Long-term care / skilled nursing facility May require working nights, weekends, and holidays Physically demanding role involving standing, walking, bending, and lifting
