The Greens at Erwin is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents. We are currently seeking a dependable, caring, and safety-focused Full-Time CNA Driver to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who enjoys working with residents and wants a role that combines hands-on resident care with transportation responsibilities. As our CNA Driver, you will help ensure residents safely get to and from medical appointments, scheduled outings, and other activities. When transportation assistance is not needed, you will support our nursing team by providing CNA care within the facility. Position Overview The CNA Driver is responsible for safely transporting residents while providing compassionate assistance throughout the transportation process. This position will also perform CNA duties within the facility as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient, compassionate, safety-conscious, and comfortable working directly with residents and their families. Key Responsibilities Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, scheduled outings, and activities Assist residents with safely entering and exiting facility transportation vehicles Ensure resident safety, dignity, and comfort during transportation Operate facility vehicles in accordance with Tennessee driving regulations, safety requirements, and company policies Perform CNA duties as needed, including assistance with activities of daily living, mobility, transfers, toileting, and personal care Safely assist residents who use wheelchairs, walkers, or other mobility devices Communicate professionally with residents, families, nursing staff, healthcare providers, and facility leadership Maintain the cleanliness and general appearance of facility transportation vehicles Complete routine vehicle safety checks and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns Maintain accurate documentation related to resident transportation and care Follow all facility policies, procedures, and resident confidentiality requirements Qualifications & Requirements Current and active CNA certification in Tennessee Valid Tennessee driver's license F Endorsement on driver's license as required in Tennessee Acceptable driving record Ability to safely operate facility transportation vehicles Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, senior care, or healthcare transportation preferred Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to safely assist residents with transfers and mobility needs Ability to lift, push, pull, and provide physical assistance to residents as required by the position What We Offer Full-Time employment Competitive pay based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) Holiday pay Supportive leadership and a team-oriented work environment Opportunities for career growth and advancement The opportunity to build relationships with residents and make a meaningful difference every day Ready to Join Our Team?
