DAY SHIFT
• Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role is vital in delivering high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and home community care environments. Duties Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Provide basic life support as needed and assist in emergency situations. Support patients with mobility, including transferring them to and from beds or wheelchairs. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and changes in condition. Document patient care activities accurately in medical records. Assist with hospice care for terminally ill patients, providing emotional support to both patients and families. Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals in various departments such as geriatrics, emergency medicine, or operating rooms (OR). Requirements Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent training is preferred. Knowledge of physiology and basic medical terminology is essential. Experience in patient care settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and compassionately.
