Eligibility for benefits may vary by location and is determined by employment status Job Summary Up to $3,000 Sign-on Bonus Based on Eligibility Assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Assists with personal hygiene, takes vital signs and changes bed linens. May serve and collect food trays, provide for between-meal nourishment, and clean, sterilize, store and prepare other supplies. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Responsibilities Performs technical skills that incorporate the patient's plan of care and comfort measures given to patients. Assists with admission, discharge, and transfer of patient. Assists patient with activities and care as assigned by the Charge Nurse and/or RN and as indicated by the patient's plan of care. Prepares and chaperones patient during examination, procedure and treatments; assists with patient procedures / treatments. Documents patient care in all assigned patient records. Performs related duties as required.
