The BLVD is seeking Nursery Assistants who will work under the supervision of the Director of Next Generation to help create a clean, safe, and nurturing nursery environment where infants and young children can grow and begin to learn about the love of God.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all children. Meet the personal needs of children, including feeding, changing diapers, and assisting with restroom breaks as needed. Monitor nursery supplies and notify the Nursery Coordinator when additional supplies are needed. Report any concerns regarding a child's behavior or emotional well-being to the Director of Next Generation. Be available to answer questions from parents and volunteers. May be required to rotate between the Midtown and Southwind campuses as needed. Participate in training as directed by the Director of Next Generation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required. Demonstrated ability to multitask and work independently, carrying assignments through to completion. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, volunteers, and BLVD staff. Must successfully complete child abuse prevention training and a criminal background check. CPR certification is required.
