CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT

•CARDIOLOGY We are seeking a compassionate, detail-orientedCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA)to join our growing cardiology team. In this role, you will support physicians and nursing staff in delivering high-quality cardiovascular care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, efficient, and committed to excellence in both clinical support and customer service.

Responsibilities:

Assist with patient intake, including vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, weight, and height) Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and diagnostic testing (e.g., EKGs, stress tests) Perform EKGs and assist with cardiac monitoring as directed Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) Maintain exam rooms, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and ready for patient care Assist physicians and nurses during patient exams and minor procedures Provide patient education and reinforce instructions as directed by clinical staff Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety at all times Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines Support front office or administrative duties as needed

Requirements:

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Texas Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred (cardiology experience a plus) Experience performing EKGs preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Proficient in EMR systems and basic computer skills
