  • We are seeking a compassionate Aide to join our team and provide essential care and support to patients in their homes or hospice facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping others during challenging times and ensuring the comfort and dignity of patients under hospice care.
  • Duties
  • Assist patients with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Help with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Monitor and report changes in patient health status to the supervising nurse
  • Follow the care plan outlined by the hospice team
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients
  • Qualifications
  • Experience in patient care, preferably in hospice or acute care settings
  • Knowledge of basic life support techniques
  • Familiarity with medical records documentation
  • Ability to provide catheter care if needed
  • Experience working with children is a plus
  • Familiarity with Cerner or similar electronic medical records systems is advantageous
