Fortress Healthcare Incorporated is seeking five dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our PRN healthcare staffing pool for assignments at Texas state-operated healthcare facilities. We are looking for compassionate, professional and reliable CNAs interested in flexible supplemental employment. Assignments may be offered in advance or on short notice depending on facility staffing needs. This is a PRN/part-time position and does not guarantee a specific number of hours per week. Responsibilities Assist patients/residents with activities of daily living. Provide personal care according to the assigned plan of care and facility procedures. Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning and other assigned care activities. Observe patients/residents and promptly report changes to nursing staff. Measure and document assigned information accurately. Follow infection-control and safety procedures. Maintain patient/resident dignity, privacy and confidentiality. Follow facility policies regarding abuse, neglect and exploitation reporting. Complete required facility training and competency validation. Work cooperatively with nurses and other healthcare team members. Maintain dependable attendance for accepted assignments. Complete required timesheets and documentation.

Minimum Requirements Applicants must:

Hold applicable current CNA certification/registry status required for the assignment. Be at least 18 years old. Maintain current CPR certification from a recognized organization. Pass required criminal-history, fingerprint, registry and exclusion screenings. Complete E-Verify/work-authorization requirements. Complete required pre-assignment drug screening. Provide current TB screening. Provide at least two current work references . Provide résumé or documented work history. Complete required facility orientation and competency requirements. Be able to work professionally with individuals receiving services in different facilities Be reliable and report on time for all accepted assignments. Schedule PRN assignments may include day, evening, overnight, weekend and holiday shifts. Assignments may sometimes be scheduled up to four weeks in advance or with as little as two hours' notice , so candidates with flexible availability are encouraged to apply.
