Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our healthcare team in Randolph Center, VT. This vital role involves providing high-quality patient care across various settings, including long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and hospital environments. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using appropriate patient transfer methods and equipment like Hoyer lifts. Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; accurately document findings within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality. Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health support. Maintain aseptic technique during procedures such as catheter care or wound management to prevent infection. Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans. Assist with medical procedures such as phlebotomy or basic life support (BLS) when required. Ensure safe manual handling practices during patient transfers and mobility assistance. Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records, adhering to compliance standards. Support patients in home and community care settings, promoting independence and well-being.
