$1,000 - $2,000 SIGN
The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care for the comfort, safety and personal needs of residents under the direction of licensed staff. This care is ensured by performing the following: Assisting residents with activities of daily living and performing procedures for hygiene and comfort Following individualized resident care plan team while sharing various tasks with other licensed and non-licensed team members Maintaining thorough electronic resident record in accordance with safety guidelines and providing social and emotional support to residents and resident families Successful candidates will meet the following requirements: Current Wisconsin certificate as a Nursing Assistant including annual 12-hour educational requirement Ability to handle crisis intervention situations as directed by care plan, facility protocol, resident rights etc . Basic level of computer proficiency, medical terminology and understanding of concept of comprehensive nursing care for a diversified population The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move objects and patients weighing over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Specific hearing abilities required by this job include, hearing conversation in noisy and quiet environments, locating a sound source and differentiating among non-speech sounds, communicating through speech. Ability to adapt to changes in daily work hour and schedule. Initiate timely emergency resuscitation measures according to adult resuscitation and advanced life support protocols. Risk of bloodborne pathogen exposure is considered high.
