The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of nursing home operations, regulatory compliance, and resident-centered care. As the Nursing Home Administrator, you will oversee all aspects of facility management, ensuring high-quality care delivery, staff supervision, and operational excellence. Your leadership will foster a safe, respectful environment that upholds residents' rights and promotes their well-being. Duties Manage daily operations of the nursing home, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with federal and state long-term care regulations. Supervise care facility teams, providing leadership, training, and mentorship to ensure high standards of nursing and resident care. Develop and oversee care plans tailored to residents' individual needs, including Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, and assisted living services. Ensure medication administration protocols are followed accurately and safely in accordance with healthcare policies. Maintain thorough documentation related to resident care, staff performance, and regulatory compliance using Microsoft Office tools. Oversee financial management activities such as budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency. Promote residents' rights by fostering an environment of dignity, respect, and personalized care in line with legal standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community services to enhance resident support programs and disability services. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator with appropriate state certification or licensing requirements fulfilled. Extensive experience in nursing home administration or long-term care management with a proven track record of leadership in senior living or residential care facilities. Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations, healthcare policies, and compliance standards related to nursing homes and assisted living environments. Demonstrated expertise in managing care facility teams, supervising staff across multiple disciplines including nursing leadership roles. Proficiency in developing care plans for residents with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, developmental disabilities, or other special needs populations. Experience with healthcare financial management including budgeting, financial acumen, and resource planning. Excellent organizational skills combined with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and home & community care practices is highly desirable.
