Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Wellness Director to join our team. As a Wellness Director you will play a vital role in promoting and supporting the overall well-being of our residents. You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising wellness personnel with a focus of maintaining a high level of service, supervising the storage/distribution of medication, and taking initiative to ensure resident safety and satisfaction is a priority.

Duties:

• Follow up investigation of all incidents
• Observing residents' health status, taking action to address concerns, and reporting all significant changes
• Oversee all new admissions/ Level of Care assessments
• Staffing and recruitment
• Ability to supervise Wellness Department employees and exercise independent judgment
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors
• Responsible for team member leadership including coaching/counseling, employee engagement, performance management and evaluations
• Quality assurance, regulatory compliance, coordination of resident's health and wellness needs, medication program management, and resident assessments
• Comply with laws and regulations as applicable
• Responsible for overseeing medication management

Qualifications:

• Licensed in the state as an LPN or RN
• CORE certification preferred
• CPR certification
• Computer literacy skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and motivate individuals
