Schedule Full-time, multi-month training program Compensation Participants receive a competitive base salary throughout the training program. Upon successful licensure and placement as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, participants become eligible for an attractive compensation package that includes a competitive salary and performance-based incentive opportunities. About the Program As an Administrator in Training, you will work directly alongside an experienced Administrator mentor, gaining practical, real-world leadership experience in a skilled nursing and post-acute care environment. Through a structured program, you will develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to lead a healthcare organization.
Training includes:
Operational leadership across all departments within a skilled nursing facility Strategic business and financial management Regulatory compliance and healthcare risk management Quality improvement and patient care excellence Human resources and team leadership Healthcare reimbursement systems and fiscal oversight Collaboration with physicians, families, government agencies, and community partners Education on CMS regulations and industry best practices This comprehensive experience is designed to prepare future leaders to drive clinical excellence, operational success, and exceptional resident outcomes. Who We're Looking For We're seeking individuals who are motivated, adaptable, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors and vulnerable populations. Qualifications MBA, MHA, or other advanced degree preferred; Bachelor's degree candidates will also be considered Must meet the state regulatory requirements for Nursing Home Administrator licensure in the intended state of residence Previous business management or leadership experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to build trust and maintain professionalism in challenging and emotionally sensitive situations Passion for serving, protecting, and advocating for the elderly and medically complex populations Demonstrated leadership potential with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop teams Strong business acumen supported by integrity, accountability, and sound judgment Why Join Emerald Healthcare?
