Executive Director The Goldton at Southaven | Southaven, Mississippi Assisted Living | Memory Care The Goldton at Southaven is seeking an experienced, energetic, and results-driven Executive Director to lead our senior living community in Southaven, Mississippi. The Executive Director serves as the leader of the community and is responsible for creating an environment where residents receive exceptional service, team members feel supported and accountable, and the community performs at a high level operationally, financially, and clinically. We are looking for a hands-on leader who is comfortable being visible throughout the community, building relationships with residents and families, developing department leaders, driving occupancy, and holding the team accountable to high standards. Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and direction for the community and its department directors. Create and maintain a positive, professional, and resident-focused culture. Recruit, develop, coach, and retain strong department leaders and team members. Establish clear expectations and hold department leaders accountable for performance. Maintain a strong presence throughout the community and build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members. Ensure the community operates in compliance with applicable state regulations, company policies, and senior living standards. Maintain strong operational and clinical standards throughout Assisted Living and Memory Care. Partner closely with the Director of Wellness to ensure quality resident care, appropriate staffing, documentation, and regulatory compliance. Work closely with Sales and Marketing to drive occupancy, improve lead conversion, strengthen referral relationships, and create an outstanding experience for prospective residents and families. Oversee community financial performance, including revenue, labor, expenses, accounts receivable, and overall budget performance. Manage labor effectively while ensuring staffing levels support resident needs and quality service. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency without sacrificing resident care or the resident experience. Ensure the physical appearance of the community reflects The Goldton's standards, including cleanliness, maintenance, landscaping, dining, and common areas. Respond professionally and promptly to resident and family concerns. Lead regular department head meetings and maintain strong communication and accountability across all departments. Develop relationships with local healthcare providers, referral partners, businesses, and community organizations. Promote a culture of teamwork in which leaders work together rather than operating as separate departments. Serve as the primary leader during regulatory surveys, inspections, and other compliance-related activities. Candidates should demonstrate:

Strong leadership and people-management skills. The ability to coach and develop department directors. A willingness to address performance issues directly and professionally. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong financial and operational understanding. Experience managing budgets, labor, and operating expenses. An understanding of senior living operations and regulatory compliance. The ability to build trust with residents and families. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. The ability to remain composed and make sound decisions in challenging situations. A proactive leadership style rather than a reactive management approach. A genuine commitment to creating an exceptional senior living experience. Qualifications Previous leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a related service-driven industry strongly preferred. Executive Director, Administrator, Operations Director, or comparable senior leadership experience preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent leadership experience will be considered. Experience with Assisted Living and/or Memory Care strongly preferred. Knowledge of Mississippi senior living regulations is preferred. Must meet all applicable state requirements for the position. Strong computer, communication, and administrative skills required.
