Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead and oversee the daily operations of our 5 STAR long-term care facility in Wilburton, OK. We are a 55 bed SNF/LTC facility with a proven track record. Our Administrator is retiring and has set a very high standard of excellence that we expect to see continued. This role is vital in ensuring the delivery of exceptional resident care, compliance with healthcare regulations, and efficient management of our outstanding staff and resources. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of nursing home administration, and a passion for senior care. You will be the driving force behind creating a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment for our residents while maintaining operational excellence. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of facility operations, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with federal and state long-term care regulations. Lead and supervise care teams to ensure high-quality nursing care services are delivered consistently. Develop, implement, and monitor personalized care plans that respect resident rights and promote independence. Oversee medication administration processes in accordance with healthcare standards and safety protocols. Maintain thorough documentation related to resident care, staff performance, financial records, and regulatory compliance using Microsoft Office tools. Ensure adherence to health regulation policies while fostering a culture of continuous improvement in resident safety and satisfaction. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, community agencies, and disability services to support residents' holistic well-being. Lead efforts in managing healthcare financials including budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation to sustain operational efficiency. Supervise staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and team development initiatives to build a motivated and compliant workforce. Promote an environment that upholds residents' rights, dignity, and quality of life through compassionate leadership. Experience Proven experience in nursing home or long-term care facility administration with demonstrated leadership in senior living or assisted living settings. Extensive knowledge of long-term care regulations, dementia care practices including Alzheimer's disease management, and resident rights policies. Strong background in nursing leadership with experience supervising multidisciplinary teams within residential or community-based care environments. Familiarity with healthcare financial management including budgeting, cost control, and resource planning. Hands-on experience with medication administration protocols and home & community care services. Prior work managing operations within residential care homes or group homes for individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities services experience is highly desirable. Competence in using Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes. Demonstrated ability to lead through change while maintaining compliance with health regulation policies; excellent organizational skills are essential.
