Job Description

STAFF:
Advisor/ADA Coordinator / Veterans Affairs Coordinator Description Eastern Oklahoma State College is a comprehensive community college providing instruction in a wide range of curricula.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred, associate degree required. Self-motivated, high energy, team-oriented individual; Ability to interact well with students, parents, school personnel, and departments throughout campus; Proficiency in Microsoft products, email, and student data systems; Excellent organizational and communication skills; Knowledge of ADA and VA regulations preferred; Commitment to the mission of Eastern Oklahoma State College; Dedication to student success in higher education; ​
Responsibilities:
Work with students to insure ADA compliance; Certification of veteran student enrollment to the Veterans Administration Responsible for registration of new students and other campus-based enrollment activities; Conduct follow-up correspondence activities with students; Responsible for accurate record-keeping of all assigned tasks; Ability to present clear and accurate information about Eastern to large and small groups; Ability to work in a dynamic, goal-oriented environment requiring multitasking responsibilities at all times; Prepare Carl Perkins reports throughout the year Schedule, administer and track admissions testing (ACT, Accuplacer, CLEP) Other duties as assigned.
Salary:
Salary will be compensated with education and experience. Expected range is $30,000 to $32,000 with benefits.
