Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Group Home Supervisor to lead and oversee the daily operations of our Intermediate Care Facility. In this vital role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents, foster a positive and supportive environment, and manage a dedicated team of caregiving professionals. Your leadership will promote compliance with health regulations, uphold residents' rights, and enhance overall facility performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced healthcare managers passionate about senior and disability care to make a meaningful difference in residents' lives. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of staff members, including caregiving, medication administration, and administrative tasks Monitor individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations, health policies, and safety standards across all operations Manage facility budgets and ensure proper documentation for healthcare financial processes Lead staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development to maintain a motivated team Maintain thorough records related to resident care, medication logs, incident reports, and regulatory compliance documentation Foster a respectful environment that upholds residents' rights while providing compassionate support for individuals with developmental disabilities or requiring assisted living services Skills Extensive experience in nursing home administration, long-term care management, or residential care home supervision Strong knowledge of intellectual disabilities, related conditions, and resident's rights protections Proven ability to manage teams effectively within healthcare or senior living facilities with supervising experience in a group home setting preferred Familiarity with health regulation policies, long-term care regulations, and assisted living standards at local and federal levels Proficiency with computers to use applications for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or requiring disability services support Excellent leadership skills combined with financial acumen for budgeting and healthcare financial management Knowledge of medication administration protocols and home & community care best practices Join us as a Group Home Supervisor to lead a dedicated team committed to enriching the lives of our residents through compassionate care.
