This exciting opportunity allows you to inspire and shape the next generation of nursing professionals through engaging classroom instruction, hands-on skills training, and innovative curriculum delivery. As a valued member of our academic community, you will utilize your clinical expertise and passion for teaching to promote student achievement in a supportive, collaborative learning environment. The ideal candidate is an experienced nursing professional who is committed to excellence in education, eager to mentor future nurses, and dedicated to fostering both academic and clinical success. Duties Deliver engaging classroom instruction aligned with curriculum standards, emphasizing adult education principles and learner-centered approaches Facilitate hands-on skills practice in simulated environments, including patient care procedures, care plans, and medical terminology application Incorporate learning technology platforms such as Blackboard and LMS (Learning Management System) to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement Develop, review, and update course materials, assessments, and documentation review processes to ensure curriculum relevance and compliance with accreditation standards Supervise students during clinical rotations at teaching hospitals or healthcare facilities, providing mentorship and constructive feedback on clinical performance Monitor student progress through assessments, assignments, and participation, maintaining detailed records of attendance and performance Collaborate with faculty colleagues on curriculum development initiatives, integrating current research findings and best practices in nursing education Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license with active clinical experience in acute care settings such as ICU, emergency departments, or medical-surgical units Proven supervising experience working with students or junior staff in hospital or clinical environments Strong knowledge of nursing concepts including patient care, care plans, medical terminology, pediatric care, senior care, primary care, and critical care procedures Experience utilizing learning technology platforms such as Blackboard or LMS for course management and student interaction Prior university or higher education teaching experience preferred; experience in curriculum development is a plus Familiarity with hospital environments including nursing administration roles or nurse management experience is advantageous Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and healthcare teams Demonstrated research involvement or scholarly activity related to nursing practice or education is desirable Embark on a rewarding journey by helping shape future nurses while advancing your professional expertise.
