•Kansas City seeks applications for a full-time, 12-month tenured/tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor to teach and conduct original, externally funded research within the Department of Nursing. The successful applicant will foster innovative research by mentoring students in the Department's Division of Research Education and promoting excellence in the development of scholarly expertise within their chosen areas of research. Opportunities exist for collaboration with interprofessional and multidisciplinary teams, as well as researchers at all stages of their careers, from students to established, externally funded investigators. Faculty are expected to disseminate their scholarship through peer-reviewed publications, competitive grant applications, and extramural funding. The successful applicant will also demonstrate the ability to teach across undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs within the Department's Divisions of Nursing Education, Clinical Practice, and Research Education.

Applicants offered this position are expected to:

Maintain a sustained, externally funded program of research and scholarship.

Mentor undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students in research and scholarly activities.

Provide service appropriate to their faculty rank.
