Job Description:
Siena's Baldwin Nursing Program is seeking applicants for Adjunct Nursing Faculty to begin January 1, 2027; for the Spring 2027 semester. Individuals will teach one (or more) of the following courses: Health Assessment lab (2 contact hours) Health Policy in Nursing Practice lecture (3 contact hours) Transformational Nursing Leadership lecture (2 contact hours) and or lab (2 contact hours) Healthcare Informatics lecture (3 contact hours) For more information about the Nursing Major at Siena, visit our website: https://www.siena.edu/nursing
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher from an accredited institution. Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in New York State. Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience in a baccalaureate nursing program. Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching using a caring science philosophy. Preferred Qualifications Experience incorporating Dr. Jean Watson's Caring Science Philosophy into nursing education, practice, or scholarship. Demonstrated ability to create a supportive, student-centered learning environment aligned with caring science principles.

Pay Rate:
$1,333.34 per contact hour •The hiring pay rate above represents the University's good faith estimate at the time of posting in compliance with the Albany County Salary Transparency Law.
