We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and team-oriented Dietary Manager to lead the dietary department at our long-term care nursing facility in Alexander City, Alabama . This is a full-time leadership role responsible for overseeing food service operations, regulatory compliance, and ensuring exceptional care and service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the daily operations of the dietary department Supervise and support dietary staff, including employee scheduling, interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplinary actions Ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal long-term care guidelines Complete nutrition-related documentation , including MDS and dietary assessments Oversee food ordering, inventory management, and cost control Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to meet residents' dietary needs Maintain a positive, professional work environment Participate in quality improvement initiatives and department head meetings Utilize dietary and administrative software confidently

Qualifications:

Previous long-term care experience required Strong leadership and supervisory experience in a food service setting Proficient in computer use and dietary software systems Strong skills in inventory, ordering, scheduling, and staffing Positive attitude with the ability to work well with all departments
